^4 (A)Rescue me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked,
Out of the ^[a]grasp of the wrongdoer and ruthless man,
⁵ For You are my ^(B)hope;
O Lord ^[b]God, You are my ^(C)confidence from my youth.
^6 [c]By You I have been ^(D)sustained from my birth;
You are He who ^(E)took me from my mother’s womb;
My ^(F)praise is continually ^[d]of You.
